An app to monitor emissions in real-time, CarbonTrace uses machine learning algorithms to provide actionable insights and personalized recommendations on how to reduce carbon footprints to help the environment. The challenge here was to lay the foundations for the branding to be modern, relatable to the average person, and user-friendly.

CarbonTrace needed to be positioned as an environmental app for daily-usage. It had to be for the everyday person, while also being modern and functional. We wanted to position the brand as an environmental resource you actually want to use because it’s informative, fun, and simplistic. After establishing the brand’s roots, I designed their visual identity, website, product mockups, marketing collateral, and social media design.
